My name is Mike Tomasetti. I am a full time real estate investor and have been buying property since 2003. Over the years, I have had many people ask me questions and want to spend time with me to learn more about what I do on a daily basis. I created phillyhomeflipper.com as a place for both new and seasoned investors to learn from myself and my colleagues. The knowledge I have today is largely a result of my being around other experts in the industry. I did not go to school to study house flipping. I just grabbed some books, started to read and learned from people with proven track records. Once I had the tools to start investing I hit the ground running and never looked back. My wife and I now own a 46 house portfolio and buy and renovate 5-10 homes a year. The key was not let anything stand in our way! In this business you will always hear NO! Things like “NO, the bank will not take that offer”, “NO, we will not lend you money for real estate” and “NO, I cannot get you that cabinet for that price”. The key is not to stop until you get to YES!! I would not have been able to do 150+ transactions if I settled for no! When I started this business I had a head full of beautiful, curly, black, hair. I now have a full head of grey hair! Hopefully this site will allow you to learn from my mistakes and avoid grey hair and some sleepless nights. Investing in real estate will not make you rich overnight. That said, real estate is a proven wealth building strategy, which has made more millionaires than any other investing strategy out there.
